It would be great if not only links but also links to documents added from Google Drive, OneDrive and Dropbox would be active when I download a lesson plan in PDF

Do those not work?! That sounds like a problem! 
....
I just checked and you're right! The fix should be going out on Monday. I'm marking this as completed for now -- let me know if we didn't fix it all by Tuesday!
